crazy in love

I love this picture! I think because it was taken in Nags Head & we had such a great time that weekend. It was the first weekend that DJ and I "came out" to some of our friends that we were dating. Usually such a thing is not a big deal, but DJ and I have known each other for sooo long. I just wanted to see how things would work out as we could have just as easily become "friends with benefits" as a real couple.

Now, we are going on two years of blissful coupledom. Did I say blissful?

A One Sided Conversation

Blogging is new to me. I understand the concept, and I've read plenty of other people's blogs, I've just never had one of my own. At this point, I'm not really sure what I want it to be. Do I make it about me and my crap? I'm thinking big SNOOZE. Do I make it about my opinions on politics, religion, or whatever else is on my mind, hoping that some asshole doesn't point out that I haven't a clue what I'm talking about? I don't know yet. So with that in mind, this blog will either surpass my expectations and evolve over time, or it will fade into the blackhole that is the internet because I've grown tired of having one sided conversations.
